The goal of every accelerator is to host a successful Demo Day for their cohort. It’s a time to let the startup founders showcase their “accelerated” companies in front of investors and industry executives.
We give our cohort that experience. But since we believe in giving our all for our startups, Demo Day is hosted at a facility that showcases the best of St. Louis sports. Our inaugural Demo Day (Fall 2015) was held at Busch Stadium (home of the 11-time national champion, St. Louis Cardinals). Our second Demo Day (Spring 2016) was hosted at Gateway Motorsports Park (at the finish line of a pro race track). And our third Demo Day (Fall 2016) was held on Saint Louis University’s campus in their Old West Pine Gym (built in 1925 to house SLU’s Div-I men’s and women’s basketball teams).
In addition, each Demo Day has a panel of rock stars as opening acts for our cohort’s presentations.
